does anyone have any performance measurements to share? i'm curious how =
long it takes to query and update a database with, say, 100K+ documents =
in it. =20
i thought i saw some measurements on the web site, but then i couldn't =
find them later, so it could be i was looking at a different NXB.

I removed those measurements because they were outdated. In response to y=
question I have uploaded some (simple!) experimental results to=20
http://exist-db.org/perf.xml.html. I measured query execution times for e=
with standard XPath, XPath with fulltext extensions and Jaxen (running on=
of eXist's DOM) for increasing data source sizes (5 to 39.15 MB). Tests w=
made two months ago with an alpha version of eXist 0.8.
I have also tried to compare eXist's query execution performance with Xin=
However, Xindice showed high variation between slightly different queries=
I'm not sure if this variation is caused by my test setup. I have thus=20
removed those results.
