Hi Ulrike, This is not the case in 2.1. # xquery version "3.0"; let $input := <test> <a n="1">1</a> <a n="2">2</a> <a n="3">3</a> </test> return $input/a[@n eq '2']/following-sibling::a # gives the correct result. I doubt that there are changes from 2.0 to 2.1 in this area. Would you run this on 2.0 and check? You might want to check https://xopus.com On 5 Mar 2014, at 15:58 , Dulip Withanage <wit...@as...> wrote: > Is there anybody who has integrated or planning to work on a wysiwig > editor? > I am interested in writing a wysiwig editor for NLM JATS > (http://dtd.nlm.nih.gov/publishing/) > Was thinking of not beginning from the scratch? |

I have used Xopus before pretty extensively and I wasn't very impressed (Actually one of the reasons we wrote our own from scratch). You might want to checkout these guys: http://www.fontoxml.com/ Although both of these are commercial products. I am currently working on the next version of our WYSIWYG (more appropriately WYSIOO) editor for our product easyDITA which runs on eXist ( http://easydita.com). Having written one editor from scratch already, and starting on writing a second version from scratch, I can tell you it's a huge undertaking with lots of gotchas. It's a possibility that we might release this next version in some way as a community edition which can be used for free for some types of institutions. If you want to chat about it more feel free to message me. Hi Casey, Dan and Dannes, Thanks for the quick responses. I was aware of teian and its annotation possibilities. It is something, I would really like to push through in the second phase. I am more interested in a full-scale XML editor with navigation possibilities. So I will test your suggestions and come back to you soon.
