I think i've found a solution.
xmldb api doesn't contemplate methods for accessing informations such as creation and modification date of a resource. eXist specific api does.
So when retrieving a collection or a resource, you need to cast them to CollectionImpl or EXistResource, which are eXist specific interface for xmldb's Collection and Resouce. Then you can use method such as getCreationDate().
Am I going in the right direction?
