If a ssml speak or p tag is provided to eSpeak with an xml:lang
attribute of the requested language, eSpeak will switch to that language
for the duration of the tag, but it will reset its variant to none, both
within the tag and after the tag is closed. This is especially
problematic for NVDA as by default NVDA's variant is set to max (a
variant included with NVDA). It would be great if the variant was
maintained.
