On a raspberry pi with a new kernel (3.14.1) espeak does not work

FATAL: cannot locate cpu MHz in /proc/cpuinfo

it has been removed recently

  • I don't think this is an eSpeak problem.

    eSpeak does not use /proc/cpuinfo. Neither the string "cpuinfo" nor "MIPS" occur in the eSpeak source code files.
