Hi,

how can I get esniper to show me the shipping-costs?

The obvious solutions seemed to be this:

1) add a line "printf("--- %s ---\n" , aip->shipping);" to parseBidHistory() in file history.c.
2) make

Needless to say it did not work:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
# ./esniper -s now -n -c esniper.conf 280392419663 0
--- (null) ---
Auction 280392419663: RUSSIAN BLACK CAVIAR 339 G (3 X 113G) RUSSISCHER KAVIAR
Time remaining: 2 hours 7 mins 21 secs (7641 seconds)
End time: 03/09/2009 14:33:28
# of bids: 0
Currently: -- (your maximum bid: 0)
High bidder: -- (NOT xxxxxx)

Auction 280392419663: Auction has ended
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Can the shipping-cost be displayed without major work on the source-code?

THX

Probably eBay has changed the bid history page. I guess that parsing of the shipping costs currently does not work. That's a hormal thing that happens to esniper and other similar tools from time to time. Function parseBidHistory must be updated to handle the shipping costs on the current bid history page. I don't care much about this. If you (or someone else) can provide a patch I will test and commit it.

I personally will not spend much time to fix this because this feature is useless for me. esniper uses the ebay.com (US) pages because its parsing partially relies on specific English words. That means esniper would always get the shipping costs to USA. This might be OK for you but not for esniper users that live in Europe.
