Hello everyone. I'm doing little testing with Apache and Yaws. I've last version of Yaws, Erlang and Apache I'm launching httperf (from a client) within a script so that the variable iteration (see below) is a step of 10k connections and goes from 10k to 90k (first 10k... then 20k... and so on) httperf --hog --server=MYSERVERIP --num-calls=1 --burst-length=1 --rate=0 --num-conns=${iteration} --port=8080 --uri=/Simple/example.html > testing-yaws.txt httperf --hog --server=MYSERVERIP --num-calls=1 --burst-length=1 --rate=0 --num-conns=${iteration} --port=8080 --uri=/Simple/example.html > testing-apache.txt It goes well up to 30k num-conns but when it goes to 40k num-conns it returns error: httperf: connection failed with unexpected error 98 i use grep to see more details: grep 98 /usr/include/*/*errno* /usr/include/asm-generic/errno.h: #define EADDRINUSE 98 /* Address Already in use */ it's the same both in Apache's test and in Yaws' one i've tried changing: - - ulimit - sysctl net.ipv4.ip_local_port_range - sysctl -w net.ipv4.tcp_fin_timeout -/proc/sys/fs/file-max with no result. please give me some suggestions -- View this message in context: http://old.nabble.com/Problem-while-testing-webserver-%28Apache-and-Yaws%29-with-httperf-tp32060497p32060497.html Sent from the Yaws mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |
