It would be really nice to have some configuration
option to customize the background colors of UML and
dot graphs instead of having to manually edit
docwrite/dotgraph.py

The defualt pink and blue colors work with the default
css but it might not look as good on a background of
other colors.

This is now possible (in subversion 1792) using config files. E.g., use "--config colors.cfg", where the file colors.cfg contains:

    ------------ start --------------
    [epydoc]
    graph-module-bg: #ffa0ff
    graph-class-bg: #ffa0a0
    graph-selected-bg: #a0ffa0
    graph-baseclass-bg: #a0a0ff
    graph-subclass-bg: #ffffa0
    graph-undocumented-bg: #a0ffff
    graph-inh-link: #ffa0a0
    ------------- end ---------------

This sample file contains a complete list of the colors that are currently used by epydoc; it is taken from the variable epydoc.docwriter.dotgraph.COLOR
