I've just added a lighgrey-background-color to the Epoz-Demo on: http://www.zfl.uni-bielefeld.de/personal/mjablonski/epoz Can you see the background with Firefox 1.04? If yes, maybe you did the customization in the wrong place. Calling Epoz you can submit a css-paramter, which should point to a style-sheet which is used in the wysiwyg-area. Normally this should be your "site-stylesheet". If you want to get "visualFontSizeCorrection" applied, you MUST feed your stylesheet into Epoz(..., css='path/to/your/css'), otherwise it doesn't work. HTH, Maik |

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello, We need to change the background-color of the Epoz-Wysiwyg-Area within our Zope backed MailManager product, and have implemented the visualFontSizeCorrection fix as documented at http://mjablonski.zope.de/Epoz/FAQ.txt, however we see no change in the background-color in Firefox 1.04. Has anyone else come across this, or can you recommend a fix? Dear Open Source developer I am doing a research project on "Fun and Software Development" in which I kindly invite you to participate. You will find the online survey under http://fasd.ethz.ch/qsf/. The questionnaire consists of 53 questions and you will need about 15 minutes to complete it. With the FASD project (Fun and Software Development) we want to define the motivational significance of fun when software developers decide to engage in Open Source projects. What is special about our research project is that a similar survey is planned with software developers in commercial firms. This procedure allows the immediate comparison between the involved individuals and the conditions of production of these two development models. Thus we hope to obtain substantial new insights to the phenomenon of Open Source Development. With many thanks for your participation, Benno Luthiger PS: The results of the survey will be published under http://www.isu.unizh.ch/fuehrung/blprojects/FASD/. We have set up the mailing list fa...@we... for this study. Please see http://fasd.ethz.ch/qsf/mailinglist_en.html for registration to this mailing list. _______________________________________________________________________ Benno Luthiger Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich 8092 Zurich Mail: benno.luthiger(at)id.ethz.ch _______________________________________________________________________ |

(rummages around for that python book I never got around to) Thanks for the explanation. -- mitchy |

Relative Links don't work very well with the "iframe"-solution Epoz is based on (broken images in Mozilla etc.). IE inserts absolute links anyway. Absolute links are no problem for me, because I use Epoz only on production sites. And if I want to migrate to another domain (but why should I do that?), then I should write a little script, which converts the links for me... Not so hard in Python, I guess...:) Cheers, Maik |

My, sure is lonely in here. Good thing I showed up! Well, I'd just like to say that Epoz just saved Zope/Plone's bacon, at least at the site I'm working at right now. Three portals for a financial services company in Manhattan. No prior Zope/Plonme experience in the company, portals written poorly by recently fired consultant... Between my second surgery and Epoz, these 'mostly dead' projects are now back in business. Epoz is the best!!! Now, on to the complaints ;^) When you use the toolbox tool in Epoz to select links, it always goes one level too deep... For example, if I am looking at 'index_html', and I link to 'page_blah', then Epoz links to 'index_html/page_blah'. That's not very intuitive. Is that a bug, or am I experiencing a personal problem? As well, the links seem to be full paths, meaning that if I exported content and moved it to another server (or was editing from an IP address but publishing to a server with external hostname), all those links would be broken (in my case, THOUSANDS)... Using: Zope 2.6.2b5 Plone 1.0.5 Epoz 0.5.1 -- mitchy |
