I've looked at the Enlightenment website and through the archives of this list and a few other places. I think I know the answer to this question, but I want to be sure. The question is, can Enlightenment be run without Gnome or KDE or any other underlying desktop? If so, how do I do it? From what I've seen the answer is, E17 will be able to do this, but E16 doesn't. Am I correct? I may not be able to do this anyway, as I am running RedHat 7.3 with Ximian Gnome - I really like the Red Carpet update application. It has been working really well. Too bad Ximian doesn't have an Enlightenment channel. -- Hugh Taylor <hr...@jh...> |
