hello there. On a debian system I've encoutered a strange problem : the whole E17 cvs checked tree get built well but none of the software that used evas can run : they all do segfault. After tracing the problem, I'm quite sure that it comes from Glibc2.2/locales : it seems that altough I've installed locales for glibc2.2, it does not appears when the program looks for it. For instance, I've noticed that when launching a gtk program (red-carpet in my case) it bombs out with printing out this error log : Gdk Warning : *** locales not supported by glibc *** When launching evas_test, evas_test_old, etcher, imlib2_test... (each of test program exept ebindings) die with the damned 'Segmentation Fault' error message. Any help on setting up correctly locales for Glibc2.2 is welcome. NOTE : with Glibc2.1 the problem disappears with red-carpet (no erros) but all the programs mentioned upper say : Glib2.2 is required for thjis program to run |
