since the update of Thunderbird to version 24.0 I've been experiencing a bug in relation to Enigmail: When trying to send a signed email for the first time in the session I'm asked for my key password which is then stored for 5 minutes for subsequent emails. After I give my password the email is correctly sent, but any following emails cannot be sent (uniformative Thunderbird error message: "Sending of message failed"), when they should be signed. Sending without signing works fine. I believe that this has something to do with the 5 minute period in which the key password should be stored.
Do you have any ideas what the problem could be and how to fix it?
Thanks a lot!
Please see Patrick's response to me a couple of threads over:
Basically we need to switch to the nightly builds for now.
Thanks! Good to know that it's being worked on.
