It should be possible to choose different signatures via recipient rule. So i would like to include some information about pgp on messages, which are signed, but on messages which are not signed per recipient rule, i want a signature without this information as well.
I am not sure if this totally belongs to enigmail, but it would not know how to interact with the recipient rules in another way. There may be other settings (inline pgp vs. mime) as well, which could be set via a rule.

I do not understand what you mean. Are you looking for a way to configure message reading or writing?

When i write an message, there are some recipients, which should not get a signed message (i.e. ticket systems, which should process the message as plaintext). They should not get an signature ("this message is signed, you can get my key at ..."), too. Currently this can only be done by multiple sending ids, which need to be chosen for each message, instead of being chosen by recipient rule, as it would be useful (so they could load a lot of other specific settings as well).

In the per-recipient rules of Enigmail you can define for each receiver whether or not the mail should be signed. This seems to be exactly what you are looking for.

Sorry, i mean signature like the "-- You name" thing on the end of the mail, not like in pgp-signature.

So if i do not sign the mail, i do not want to add "this mail is digitally signed, see [...]" in the end of the mail.

Looks good. Do you consider adding something like this (i guess more "identity switch", which would include stuff like pgp-key for identity, reply-to, always-cc, ...) for enigmail or do you want to close this bug?

    Glad you like it :-)

Concerning your questions: Enigmail can use a different key pair for each identity. However the rest seems out of scope for Enigmail.

    Closing this one.

Well, I don't want to reopen it, but is seems a valid RFE to me: I added a Comment in Cleartext signed messages that explains what these 'strange' lines are about. Many people tell me that they are not able to "open" my (signature) attachment. Would be a nice feature indeed if I could tell TB to add an explanation if the message is signed.

However, this applies to any signed message (S/MIME also), so it would be kind of more locigally places in one of those AddOns that handle different signatures. They trigger on different things. So if Enigmail and S/MIME DO have well-defined APIs to ask prior to actually sending a message, then these AddOns could add an explanation. If not, then at least Enigmail could offer such a feature.

This IS a fairly low priority, though...
