Summary: problem with importing calendar

Initial Comment:
I am unable to import a calendar. Clicking on the
"Import" button on the calendar menu returns the
following line:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_PRIVATE in
/var/www/html/egroupware/calendar/inc/class.boicalendar.inc.php
on line 1913

egroupware version is 1.0.0.008.
PHP version is 5.04
OS is Linux Server2 2.6.11-1.1369_FC4smp
Apache/2.0.54 (Fedora)
MySQL 4.1.11

I found reference to this problem from someone else in
the help forum, post dated Feb 2005, but with no response.

But I don't know how to do what you suggest. Does that mean
that I should download and install the latest snapshot, as
found at http://sourceforge.net/snapshots?

Hi,

only change you have is: update to the development version
in the HEAD branch. The stable 1.0.0 releas does NOT (fully)
support PHP5.
