> Summary: #3169 - too many alarms planned at the same time cause server crash (out of memory )
> : Hello,
for some unknown reasons (maybe errors in synchronisation ) , a user has planned multiple ( 80) alarms for an event at the same time ( same day same hour same minute ).
When these tasks have to be treated by cron , many errors occured (out of memory ) and finally the server crashed .
it seems that the process launched for treating these task :
php -q memory_limit=-1 /usr/share/egroupware/phpgwapi/cron/asyncservices.php default
was the cause of the crash : because of the argument memory_limit=-1 which bypass usual memory limits of php.ini .
the problem has been solved by removing this argument in egroupware/phpgwapi/cron/asyncwrapper.php
