Hi! I've had this issue some days ago on egroupware.org's tracker, i.e. was always logged on as anonymous user, logging off didn't work -- until I deleted that cookie:

After deletion I could login with my account. The behavior changed since being logged in as user and not as anonymous: If I login with "remember always" enabled and log out, I get the login page as expected.

Seems that the mentioned cookie won't get deleted just for the anonymous user on logout automatically.

I have not setup any special in account. But still llok on this bug as anonimous can't login as registered user - always retur there as anonnimous.

I have been made as previous only from main http://www.egroupware.org

Hi Pavel,

we changed the default to do not login for ever, so this will not happen anymore just by default. If a user switch on "login for ever" its up to him and than the links will not work.

we will see what we can do, but not sure if this is fixable other than not using that option ...

Cool. Will it be fixed?

Hi Pavel,

this seems to be related to the method used on egroupware.org, having a cookie called eGW_remember which "allows to be logged in forever" and seems to have this side effect

Hi Andreas,

can you please have a look at this: it happens in 1.8 and EPL, if you need more details, let me know

Hi Pavel,

ok i tested a little bit more, it's related to the idots template.

I was signed in before and in my preferences i selected to use the stylite-template, and then it worked fine. Without having signed in before and/or with idots-template can reproduce the bug. We will have a look, what cause this.

Strange, it is 100% time reproducible.
For example in this bug if I do not login in in site I open link from mail http://www.egroupware.org/egroupware/index.php?menuaction=tracker.tracker_ui.edit&tr_id=2761&no_popup=1&cd=yes as Anonymous. I want answer and press link "Login" at top right corner of page (http://www.egroupware.org/egroupware/logout.php) but it immediately redirect me to http://www.egroupware.org/egroupware/index.php?menuaction=tracker.tracker_ui.edit&tr_id=2761&no_popup=1&cd=yes without any possibility enter login and password!

I check in two browsers - Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.

Hi Pavel,

the egroupware.org tracker is reachable also for the anonymous user, so if you click on a link (e.g. tracker notification) you get directed to the view-mode of the tracker. But to change or add something you need to be logged in as a real user. So clicking on login (or logout) logs you out and redirects you to the login-page. Here you have to sign in with a real username and password (NOT the anonymous user). This works for me.
