I am experiencing a very fundamental problem with Edyuk. I create a new
project with a .pro file looking like this:
TEMPLATE = app
TARGET = Workspace
RCC_DIR = .build
MOC_DIR = .build
OBJECTS_DIR = .build
SOURCES += main.cpp
SOURCES += mainWindow.cpp
HEADERS += mainWindow.h
When I try to open this project in Edyuk it crashes...
Any ideas? Surely this is a very easy project to open and handle. All the
files are in the right place. I'm running Windows XP SP2.
Thanks for reporting this.
What version of Edyuk are you using? Package? SVN? Prebuilt binary or built from source?
Which version of Qt are you using? If you built Edyuk from source what compiler did you use?
Is the crash consitently reproducible or random? Is there any chance you can get me a backtrace?
(preferably using gdb but if you're using another debugger it should do as well)
I have not been able to reproduce this crash and don't have any clue about its source right now
but I'll keep investigating. In case you are using Edyuk 1.0.0 prebuilt binaries please be aware
that they were built under Vista using latest MinGW (3.4.5 I believe) and Qt 4.4.0 The difference
between build environment and execution environment may be the cause of your problem...

Please send all the source files. A similar bug has been reported on Sf.net tracker
and it turned out that the C++ parser was responsible for the crash. I need some
data to reproduce and fix this issue.
Thanks in advance.

I'm not able to reproduce the bug under Vista/Qt 4.4.0/MinGW.
Please give me more informations about your setup, and try to build Edyuk
from source if you were using prebuilt binaries or send a backtrace so that
I may track the bug even if I am not able to reproduce it.
Quick backtrace guide just in case :
1) get GDB (or any other debugger)
2) run Edyuk under a debugger (better if built in debug mode but not necessary) [GDB command : run]
3) reproduce the crash
4) get the backtrace [GDB command : bt]
5) copy/paste it in your answer (even if it looks useless)
