If ed2k could support IPv6 it would avoid all the NAT
issues.
Nowaday IPv6 is supported by Windows XP, most of the
Linux distributions (Redhat, Mandrake, Debian), by
FreeBSD....

    well, yes.

    But this is a core issue and not a GUI issue.

    Also, don't forget that all the router equipment between two
    peers needs to support IPv6 as well in order to use all its
    goodies without tricks.
