This is not the Maxima mailing list, but I am not sure these are the right instructions. Maxima is built using "./configure --with-lisp=ecl" or "./configure --with-ecl" IIRC and then installed with "make; make install" or something like that. What you are doing is not the standard way of building a Maxima executable AFAIK
