Subject: ECL and libltdl
Hello,

I've been struggling with trying to use cffi based libraries with ECL on iOS which doesn't allow dlopening dynamic libraries (so ECL has to be compiled with --disable-shared).

GNU libtool includes a small library libltdl which is a kind of platform independent wrapper for dlopen and also has a fallback mechanism for platforms that don't allow it: http://www.gnu.org/software/libtool/manual/html_node/Dlpreopening.html

The attached patch adds optional ltdl support to ECL. I also added a sample application that shows how to use it.

Regards,
Sylvain
