I installed the eclipse plugin into a clean eclipse-3.1 + WTP-0.7
I crated a XUL Project and the sample application
I set the preference to point to a xulrunner-1.8b4.en-US.win32 installation
I run the sample app as "XUL Application"
The console indicates that a XULRunner Application is running.
But I see no output in the console and the app window also does not appear.
I go to taskmanager and kill the xulrunner.exe process
Did I mis any step?
Do I have to configure xulrunner in some way other than the pref in eclipse?
looking forward to what this project will grow into

ah sorry - please forget it.
I wanted to try something different and created a new project and this new project works :)
No idea though what's wrong with the first one. I just deleted it.
hm,
Installed the plugin on a second machine, same config (WinXP, Eclipse-3.1, WTP-0.7, xulrunner-1.8b4.en-US.win32)
Created sample project: does not run - or better: xulrunner starts but nothing becomes visible on screen
Created second sample app - does not work either
Need to figure out what is different in the other mentioned project that works
Hi, Jens
Wonder if you are still active on EclipseXUL. The problem you report dues to the limitation that the project name should have no caps.
Use a project name with no Caps and everything works well.
Yes, I figured that out since then :)
weird limitation :(
