I am creating a project under the standard 'src' directory. Everything works fine but now I need to use some external source code. I placed the source files under a 'external' directory and tries to
compile my project with the external code.

I get error messages that the module cannot be found. I have tried to add a search path to Eclipse under debug configuration and then ghc options "-i[new_search_path]" But it keep saying cannot find module. On the command-line (ghc) it works fine

How can I add search paths in eclipse (relative or absolute) ? I am running under Windows 7.

I found the solution: you can add the directories in your .cabal file under hs-source-dirs
