InstantVNC 2.0 release

Hello! The 2.0 release of InstantVNC is now available here:

InstantVNC is the application that allows remote access to your Windows PC. Simply customize and distribute a single .EXE to the users you want to remotely support, and you'll be able to connect to them with an EchoVNC Viewer regardless of any intervening firewalls or routers.

As of the 2.0 release, InstantVNC can be used either in "as needed" mode, which requires no installation, or in an "always on" mode where it's installed as a normal Windows service.... read more

EchoVNC 2.35 important update

Hello! Version 2.35 of EchoVNC for Windows is now available:

This version includes 3 minor updates, one major one:

* Repaired Viewer connection box behavior
* Repaired .vnc file behavior
* EchoWare DLL repairs for large connection groups
* Removed Java Viewer capability from the server

About that last one...It has come to our attention recently that one of the EchoVNC features we inherited from our port of legacy VNC platforms has become the basis of a recent patent infringement lawsuit(1).... read more

Initial Release of EchoVNC for Linux

The EchoVNC team is pleased to announce the long-awaited release of the EchoVNC Viewer for Linux. With EchoVNC, “firewall-friendly” VNC and Remote Desktop connections can be established to Windows and OSX PC’s regardless of firewall, router or web-proxy configuration.

The EchoVNC team has released version 2.10 of their open-source, secure remote-support tool for Windows. This is a major feature release, as described below.

EchoVNC 1.40 now available

The EchoVNC team has released version 1.40 of their open-source, secure remote-desktop tool for Windows. This release repairs a minor incompatibility with RealVNC 4.x servers, and adds support for NTLM-based web-proxies.

echoWinVNC version 1.0 released

The EchoVNC team announces the initial release of echoWinVNC, a echoWare-enabled, zero-configuration VNC Server for remote-desktop control of Windows PC's.

To operate echoWinVNC, simply download the file and start it up. It will prompt the user for an echoServer to connect with. Fill in the connection details (or use the demo server settings by default) and ... you're done. Now anyone with access to the same echoServer can remote-control the PC.... read more

EchoVNC version 1.1 release

Released the 1.1 update to the EchoVNC application today.

EchoVNC is a secure tunneling utility for VNC users of all flavors (Real, Tight, Ultra, etc.). With EchoVNC on both sides of a connection, two VNC users can remote access each other's computers regardless of firewall or router configuration. VNC becomes "firewall friendly" -- no more port-forwarding!
