    hi,

so far i've to say that i really like ecb except of one thing: if i (try to) start editing a (c++) method, the text background color changes so that i can't read anything i'm writing. if i stop writing it switches back to the original color after some seconds and the text "Partial reparsing...." reads on the buttom line.

how can i get rid of this?!

    thanks in advance,
    klaus

The same with those underlined parts of my code. I have no idea how to interpret them and so they are of no use for me.

      Cheers
      Sascha

      Hi all.

This comes not from ECB but from semantic.

Probably you have loaded semantic with

      (setq semantic-load-turn-everything-on t)
      (require 'semantic-load)

      This activates semantic-show-dirty-mode and semantic-show-unmatched-syntax-mode.

If you do not want this you can either do:

      (setq semantic-load-turn-everything-on nil)
      (require 'semantic-load)

      or

      (setq semantic-load-turn-everything-on nil)
      (require 'semantic-load)
      (global-semantic-show-dirty-mode -1)
      (global-semantic-show-unmatched-syntax-mode -1)
      (global-senator-minor-mode 1)

      to deactivate these modes.

      Hope this helps,
      Klaus
