Ok,=20 Simon Cox and I have been working on this over the past couple of days and we've currently fleshed out the following: a SubmitObjectRequest xml and just have to create the relevant sql to get info from source records (xml docs) into the registry. I've attached a copy of the SubmitObjectRequest and an xml instance of the schema, could someone help me with the required sql to load the information from the xml instance into ebXML please? Also Diego I noticed that you use a java class for I18n, as a extDB target to load data - is this correct? If so, to me this seems similar to me creating a separate class that connects to the ebXML registry using JAXR to import/map records from a xml doc into the registry - yes/no. If anyone could give me pointers with how to open the xml instance file in SubmitObjectRequest and insert the values into the registry it would be appreciated, since I'm almost there! Subject: RE: Loading domain specific queries for a custom profile (Was: Re: [Ebxmlrr-tech] registering bulk data) Ok, thanks for that Farrukh, Diego and Tony I think I understand now. I endeavour to complete the classification scheme of schema x, tomorrow and I will look at loading it along with AdhocQuery's to register the individual files created with the schema x. I will keep you informed and I will thoroughly document my experience. Once again thanks for the help and this is by far the most supportive open-source community I've experienced in recent times Regards Ryan -----Original Message----- From: Farrukh Najmi [mailto:Farrukh.Najmi@Sun.COM]=20 Sent: Thursday, 21 July 2005 11:27 AM To: Fraser, Ryan (E&M, Kensington) Cc: Tony.Graham@Sun.COM; ebx...@li... You may want to follow the pattern of the extension profiles as defined=20 under misc/sample/extDB/* and with targets defined in build-extDB.xml >- now how do I using ebxml get the relevant data (data that has been >mapped in the classification scheme) from these individual xml files >(which are in schema x) registered in ebxml. Create a new target such as >minDB? >Please describe this process > =20 > What you need to do is to: 1. Define domain specific parameterized stored queries in your extension profile and load them as part of loading your extension profile. See for example the AdhocQuery objects loaded in=20 misc/samples/extDB/ws/SubmitObjectsRequest_WSProfile.xml The SQL is a little daunting at first but there are many examples under=20 misc/samples/*DB/ 2. Edit the file:=20 src/java/org/freebxml/omar/client/ui/common/conf/config.xml and add the "UI" configuration for the AdhocQuery instances for your=20 profile. See "WSDL Discovery Query" and "ServiceBinding Discovery Query" as examples related to the WS Profile. 3. Load your profile extenion into the registry using your profile=20 specific loadCLRCProfile. 4. Test the domain specific queries using Java UI or Web UI Best of luck and kudos to your perseverance. --=20 Regards, Farrukh http://ebxmlrr.sourceforge.net/tmp/ebXMLRegistryLinks.html ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Discover Easy Linux Migration Strategies from IBM.
