i am observing the game on FICS and each time after check-mate, resign or abort the chess board disappears. is it possible to leave it displayed for future analysis (and possibility of saving the game)? thank you. cheers, -- joe |

Currently, there's no way to make boards accumulating on the screen. Note also that FICS, by default, stops observing a game when you start playing. 'help v_unobserve' (on FICS) provides help on how to change this server-side behavior, I believe 'set unobserve 3' to be the most reasonable setting for eboard. To automatically append all played/observed games to a PGN file, see Settings -> Preferences -> Autosave PGN files can be loaded through Windows -> Games on Client .........................................................................
