First release of NEC e606 IOKit driver!

I bought a 3G 'phone, and was very disappointed to find its USB communication features were only supported on Windows. I was even more disappointed to find that it doesn't conform to any readily available standard, and NEC have not published details of the protocol. To help remedy this situation, I have begun to develop an IOKit driver for the 'phone, and have decided to share the work with the Open Source community.

The 0.0.1a1 hasn't been tested extensively, and it doesn't support many features of the 'phone. It's here as a starting point. It's something to build on. This project is an IOKit driver, for Mac OS X/Darwin. However, the project may be of some benefit to Linux and/or *BSD users, as this project involves reverse-engineering the communication protocol used by the 'phone.
