Unfortunately I don't think I can help too much with debugging your cisco= =20 settings. Is there any way you can just wipe out the configuration for=20 that port and start over? Do you have vlan's enabled for the device as well? It looks like your=20 configuration has them enabled at the switch (but I don't know if it is an= =20 internal to the switch vlan only, or one you have to configure your end=20 point systems to use) > Do you think upgrading to a 2.6 kernel could solve the problem? I doubt upgrading would solve your problem. Do you have any tcpdump=20 output for the failing case? If you had a system with a 2.6 kernel on it= =20 already you could try the fiber adapter in it. Also, you may want to enable the Store Bad Packets (SBP) bit in the driver= =20 source, and then do tcpdump and save it to a file.
