Hi,

Using proxmox v2.
OVH Server (see bottom for PCI output)

When using either 2.6.32-13-pve or 2.6.32-14-pve kernels, the server never comes back online after reboot (no ping).
But when using kernel: 2.6.32-12-pve again, it works just fine.

Would be very nice to be able to run the newest kernels. :)
Have a wonderful day

Kind regards
Niels

    Hi,

I have the same problem with netwok card 82579LM.
    2.6.32-13-pve/2.6.32-14-pve kernel include e1000e driver version 2.0.0.1.
With this driver version the server newer comes up.
Unfortunately I can not provide any boot or error messages it's a hosted server without console access at boot time.

After checkout 2.6.32-14-pve kernel sources and replacing the driver with the version 1.3.10a (not tested if other versions works too) the server starts and everything works fine.

    Regards,
    Andreas
