We use Proxmox on an Intel Modular Server since a while. It is eqipped witch 2x Compute Modules MFS5000SI and 1x MFS5520VI. Each Compute Module has the extra 2 Port Network Card (Mezzaine).

On MFS5000SI the Kernel seems to crash somewhere beetween megasas and e1000e.

Actually I can make some Tests with 1 of the MFS5000SI, if some supplies me with some Instructions.

This is a known issue on all fiber/serdes devices supported by e1000e. A fix is currently in test and a driver update will be posted on SourceForge in the next few days.

FWIW, this issue goes back through the release of e1000e-1.10.6
