Strg + space woks fine for variables and Modules, but does nothing for subs. Neither self defined subs in the same script ,nor methods defined in used modules like File::Basename. How can I get that?

There is no autocompletion for non-method subroutine names in EPIC. Possibly because it would require figuring out which subs are and which aren't exported, which is generally something that is not decided until runtime.
