I can debug and display local variables with "my" but I can seem to display global variables.  This option is selected in the Eclipse Variable View menu.

And, when editing my perl script I press the debug button and it asks "Debug As" ?  Why doesn't it remember from the last session?
    Thank you.

    Eclipse: 3.6
    EPIC 0.5.46
    PadWalker 1.9

Try EPIC 0.6.36 ('testing') to see if global variables are displayed properly then.

As for the Debug As and launching last session, you probably need to set the "Always launch previously launched application" preference under "Launching" (it used to be the default and only choice in Eclipse 3.2, then in 3.3 someone creative from Eclipse team broke it).

Thanks!  That worked after editing cwd.pm as noted in bug ID: 2907155
