I just installed EPIC 0.6.50 on Eclipse Classic 4.2.2.
The *.pl file type is correctly associated to EPIC. I created a Perl project and created a new Perl File. It shows in the Navigator with the icon of a text file, same on the tab of the file. I right click the file, Open With, Other and choose Epic. Now the icon on the tab show the Epic Icon, in the Navigator it remains a text icon however.
When I configure a Run Configuration under Perl Local, I can can select my project but when I search the File to execute I have a blanc screen. So no Perl files are found in the project.
I found a solution to the problem. Instead of "New \ Perl file" I used "New \ Other \ Perl file" and now this file is recognised in the project as a Perl file. I can use the debugger on it etc.
