I use this way to report a bug because I have no
SourceForge account :( It seems that there is a problem
with syntax highlighting when using the old package
reference syntax with quote.

Examples:

With new perl syntax: „myPackage::mySub“ syntax
highlighting works fine.

With old perl syntax: „myPackage’mySub“ everything from
quote to the next „myPackage’mySub“ is highlighted as
string (blue in the default epic configuration).

The problem is, that i have to use the old perl syntax,
because our company uses a perl obfuscator (CodeProtect
3) that doesn’t understand the new syntax.

Best regards,
Stefan Schroeder

Then simply add at the end of your line

    # '

    which will end the quotation.

I don't see this as Bug, cause you can as well modify your
perl.xml for spanning to create another end-quotation like #
    on your own.
