After the upgrade I've gotten serious encoding problems.
I wanted to make a DVD with MJPEG files: http://www.edwardleuf.org/x/PICT0007.MOV
And the result became a pixelated blocky mess: http://www.edwardleuf.org/x/messdvd.iso
I've reverted back to what I know 2.4.2 for this particular DVD.
please try DVDStyler 2.5.1:
Still the same.
Hey Edward, the .mov file that you get from your Konica Minolta Digital Camera cannot be handled by ffmpeg, the remuxing subprogram in DVDstyler. Well, it does create a file but there is nothing in it just a blank screen while the audio runs. So, a straight forward .mov through DVDstyler to DVD is not possible with the latest version of DVDstyler/FFmpeg. You would have to convert the .mov file to something else like .avi or .mp4 using a converting software.
If you were able to use your .mov files in a previous version of DVDstyler, I would stick with that version.
A free video conversion program I use is called SUPER.
Hope this helps.
Imagine that... ffmpeg is not backwards compatible.
Or, wait... I just tried with ffmpeg version N-54499-g63d7684 using just -target ntsc-dvd and -aspect 4:3 and it worked just fine. Maybe I missed an encoding param that DVDstyler uses.
