    Hello, i hoped my topic comes back. But i got no answer from the admins and so i think its better to write it in "short words" again.
    Alex i tested the newest release of dvdstyler and i truely got a 2.1 sound but i couldnt get the sound on all 5 .1 speakers. there was no sound
    on the rear at all. i tested it different ways. but, sorry, i doesnt Support DolbyProLogic for real complete Cinema Feeling. also it seems that the high tones got lost. but thats only subjective by my own ears not
    by some measurething or-software. The sound seems to have a lot of middle tones, like a jukebox of the 60ies now.

    So i searched the settings of DVDFlick. And found this. (it includes the settings of ffmpeg, but i dont understand where DVDflick makes 2.0 --> 2.1 to enable Dolbyprologic.But it works.

    1.) FFmpeg is revision 19276.

    DVDStyler 2.6 uses following audio filters to upmix to 5.1:
    aformat=channel_layouts=5.1,pan=5.1|c0=c0|c1=c1|c2=0.5c0+0.5c1|c3=c3|c4=c4|c5=c5
    You can try to unselect "upmix" and then try another filter, e.g.
    aformat=channel_layouts=2.1,pan=2.1|c0=c0|c1=c1|c2=0.5c0+0.5c1
    or
    aformat=channel_layouts=5.1,pan=5.1|c0=c0|c1=c1|c2=0.5c0+0.5c1|c3=0.5c0+0.5c1|c4=0.5c0+0.5c1|c5=0.5c0+0.5c1

    now.. i tested a lot and i learned that i did not know enough about 2.0, 2.1, 5.1, DDII and DS + DTS when i started my topic. so i read a lot the last days and now i began to understand the Problems about Special Sound upmix. the "free" channel Setting via filters is a perfect tool to make Special effects to Music DVDs. can you tell me please , is there somewhere a description about the Settings, because i want to try some own Setting... for example: the upper 5.1 layout is Little to loud at LR + RR. So maybe i want to test is in different Setting (is c4=0.2c0+0.1c1 c5=0.1c0+0.2c1) possible for example ) and not so much tone in the middle (more Stereo) (i think this is a result of 0.5+0.5 ...) so i am in Need for an understandable documentation for the possible filter Settings.. i dont found the docu on ffmpeg documentation site.
    and than at least it would be fine to have the 5.1 flag and the possibility of filters also at the Audio track at the menus...
