Hello,
after thinking for backup options i found out:
You could clone an entire harddisk to another harddisk if
its the same size with the command dd.
For cloning a harddisk to an smaller one you should use
dump (saying on groups.google.com).
So i searched and found out more:
use an linux-cd or an rescue-linux-disk with the rescue
option.

So what are the commands for dump to clone
harddisk /dev/hda with 5 partions to hardisk /dev/sda
Should i use fdisk and create the partions?

Thanks a lot!

You can use either dump or tar to clone your filesystems.

    Procedure:
    Boot on your rescue disk
    Make partitions on /dev/sda
    For each filesystem:
    make the filesystem: mke2fs /dev/sdaX
    create mount point: mkdir /mnt/sdaX
mount the new filesystems: mount /dev/sdaX /mnt/sdaX
    clone the one fs: dump 0f - /dev/hdaX | ( cd
    /mnt/sdaX ; restore rf - )
