I mv'd the contents of /opt/local/var/dspam/* and restarted dspam. When the first email came in it recreated exactly what was there before. No *.sdb files. StorageDriver is set to /opt/local/lib/libsqlite3.dylib. $ ls -l /opt/local/lib/libsqlite3*.dylib -rwxr-xr-x 1 root admin 738600 Jun 11 14:07 /opt/local/lib/libsqlite3.0.8.6.dylib* lrwxr-xr-x 1 root admin 22 Jun 11 14:07 /opt/local/lib/libsqlite3.0.dylib@ -> libsqlite3.0.8.6.dylib lrwxr-xr-x 1 root admin 22 Jun 11 14:07 /opt/local/lib/libsqlite3.dylib@ -> libsqlite3.0.8.6.dylib I renamed the dspam.conf file and restarted dspam and it complained that it couldn't find /opt/local/etc/dspam.conf, so it is looking for it in the correct place. I changed the dspam.pid and dspam.sock locations in dspam.conf and restarted dspam and they moved into the newly defined place, so dspam.conf is being read. >> [snip] >> $ sudo cat /opt/local/var/dspam/default.prefs >> spamSubject= >> signatureLocation=headers >> >> Both of these are already set in dspam.conf. > Something is not working right. You have in dspam.conf and in the > default.prefs signatureLocation=headers and in the other mail you wrote > that the signature is now showing up in the message body. Adding spamSubject= and signatureLocation=headers to default.prefs removed "[SPAM]" from the subject and put the signature back in the header, even though these are already set this way in dspam.conf. I agree, something's not right. It's like the dspam.conf Preferences are not being read correctly. >> Thanks, >> -Terry >> >>> -- >>> Kind Regards from Switzerland, >>> >>> Stevan Bajić Terry Barnum digital OutPost http://www.dop.com |
