I am new to dspace and I am attempting to use dspace to create a
bibliography collection of about 1 million records.
I have a Community and a Collection and I have my metadata created but seem
to need to add items as the next step.
Is there a way to use dspace to create an item without having to upload a
file for each item?
Has anyone else been able to use dspace to create a collection without
requiring an upload file for each item?
I was using a csv upload file but only one item was added and all subsequent rows just overwrote the previous.
Thanks for the reference. The trick was to put '+' in the id column to add a new item when importing metadata.
Everything went smoothly after that.
