So I think I'm digging way back on this one because the change I'm
looking for seems to reach back before our current repository's history.
We're talking Collection.createSubmitters() here. Since DSpace@...
has been migrated forward since the beginning of time (read: DSpace),
we have artifacts left over from a very long time ago. Some of these
are Groups with old naming schemes. I'm seeing:
collection_123-130_submit (from some time way back)
and the current naming scheme:
The latter seems to have been around for quite some time.
Can anyone provide me with the code from way back when the earlier
format was employed before this changed? Do we have the CVS
histories archived somewhere?
P.S. - The actual issue here is that we have a lot of Submitter
groups that are not linked to collections via the
collection.submitter field because this was not explicitly set until
Collection.java rev. 1115. I'm in the process of correcting this by
linking the unlinked groups to their appropriate collections based on
the ID number in the group name so that these will display properly
in the Manakin "Assign Roles" page, but I need to know the logic that
created these ID range variants before I link those as well.
