I am using Dspace1.2.2. Going through the documentation I saw that the system is layered as follows
application layer: org.dpsace.app.*
business logic layer: org.dspace.*
storage layer: org.dspace.storage.*
With the assumption that calls would normally only be made from a layer above to a layer below (like from application layer to storage layer), I noticed
that src/org/dspace/storage/bitstore/BitstreamStorageManager.java->cleanup calls  src/org/dspace/core/Context.java->abort.
Would it have been more appropriate for Context.java to exist in a lower layer ?
