Sounds good.

I'm glad we have an initial sketch.  At the same time, I wonder if the timeline might look a lot different based on the outcome of current discussions about what 3.0 should include.  Guess we'll see.

  Hi all,

I just threw together a schedule for discussion based on last years...

August 17, 2011 : Feature Freeze Date
August 24, 2011 : Final Documentation "Due Date"?
August 31, 2011 : Release Candidate 1 Release
September 3-14, 2011 : Testathon
September 28, 2011 : Release Candidate 2 Release
October 1-10, 2011 : Final Testing / Bug Fixing
October 12, 2011 : 1.8.0 Final Release

Any thoughts ?

Cheers, Robin.
