No

If you are at the end of the line, it should be
possible to add space and move forward with the tab
key, just like in SciTE.

    Wha?

    (I'll need some more details.)

What exactly are you doing here?

Sorry. I noticed now that the problem appears only under
    certain circumstances.

    - Set "Use Tabs=No" in the preferences under "File Types"
and set "Tab Size=4" and Update
    - Select File -> New
    - Press Tab key - the cursor advances 4 spaces (or whatever
you have set your tabsize to)
    - Enter "1"
    - Press Tab key again - the cursor does not move
    - Enter "2"
    - Press Tab key - again the cursor does not move
    - Enter "3"
    - Press Tab key - again the cursor does not move
    - Enter "4"
    - Press Tab key - the cursor moves 4 spaces again

Seems that if the cursor is at a non-tab position at the end
of a line, tabbing does not advance the cursor to the next
    tab position.

If you have selected "Use Tabs=Yes" in the preferences,
    everything works just fine.

Got it. This is fixed for the next release.
