No

The following problem occurs if you have set "Use
Tabs"=No in the preference.

Create a new document and type the following:
"if 1:" <Return>
The next line will be indented with 4 spaces or
whatever you have set as your tab size, which is finde.
Now type:
"print 2" <Return>
The next line will be indented as well, which is still
fine.
Now I want to end my if-Block in the next line.
Problem: I have to press Backspace four times, or to
press the dedent key kombination which uses three keys.

In SciTe I can just press the Backspace key one time to
end the block an dedent one level back which is much
more convenient.

This could be something to work on for a later release (auto
    back tab on backspace).

So I was fixing a critical bug, and thought, what the heck,
    why not?

:) AutoBackTab is in the new release.

Great. This will spare a lot of typing for non-tab-users.
