I've switched over to a new versioning scheme.
Just the release number.
I painstakingly (or with find) counted the number of releases.
Now releases will happen whenever, and the actual release info will tell you what goes into each release.
The turning point was the joy of using subversion at work, and hearing a co-workers discuss software stability based purely on the version number (and they were right!). There never was that kind of connection between version number and stability with drpy, so why keep up pretenses?
Why not march boldly into a major.minor.revision hell free future?
Besides, isn't version 160 way more advanced than version 3.10?
