[Dri-users] 3dfx unstability(x locks and crashes often)

I have 2 computers one with a 3dfx voodoo3 3000 AGP and one computer 
with a PCI

I have the current problem.
At times when I switch to console, X just cuts out and closes on me. 
I've tried upgrading to XF4.1, etc.... I'm using Redhat 7.1 currently 
with XF4.03 that come out of the box with redhat. It's all configured 
ok, with dri and opengl and everything.  There arn't any messages in any 
of the log files that I know of.  Any idea's on how I can tell what's 
happening or how I can make it stop?

btw, both computers are doing this.   I have a different computer with a 
geforce2 mx, and it does not do this.
