this sin/cos is in math.h
Somehow I think your gcc devel is not quite ok. What version is it anyways?
I know about the RedHat 7 problom. It comes with many many broken things,
esp. gcc. You'd better install a whole new gcc and try again. Euhm, redhat
homepage prolly has some links about the known problems. I'd say remove
RedHat and install a decent distro.
