Something I just noticed is that I see this with RedHat 9 and the DRI trunk when turning on the screensaver in the KDE Control Center and disabling the xscreensaver daemon, but not when using the xscreensaver daemon. I get the same thing with XFree86 4.3.0 on RedHat 7.2 in KDE with the DRI mach64 driver (which also has the default visual as single-buffered). Are you running KDE? If so, try disabling the screensaver in the KDE Control Center and run xscreensaver-demo, start the xscreensaver daemon and choose a GL screensaver that was flickering before. Do you still see flickering when the screensaver runs? ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. |
