-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 At the risk of sounding anal-retentive, Irongate refers ONLY to the AMD-750 chipset, and the AMD-751 northbridge in particular. It's become common practice to refer to the AMD-760 as Irongate as well, and this is confusing a LOT of people, needlessly. Radeon requires AGPgart for 3D for certain, and it may require AGPgart just to load. As this is the DRI list, I'm assuming you'd like working 3D. insmodding agpgart with the agp_try_unsupported=1 set should do the trick, at least to get you running until proper AMD-76* docs come in from AMD for the agpgart guys. All Thunderbird (on-die cache) Athlons use ECC in their cache. Quite a few motherboards enable this by default. I'm not sure how you would check, but unless it's absolutely vital to your well-being, I'd say it would be entirely safe to assume ECC is enabled on the L2.
