this is an update to my previous posting from 03/07/2002.
Now I tried the Radeon7500 with Q3A and Nehe's Opengl Lesson25
on my new Mainboard which supports AGP 1x, 2x (and 4x).
And it locked up the machine similar as with the old mainboard.
But when using AGP 2x, pressing of strg+alt+backspace switched
the computer off, which didnt work with AGP 1x (on the old board).
Quake3 works (but slow) when "use gl extensions =3D off" in the
Kernel 2.4.18, almost latest DRI from trunk, XFree 4.2.0,
agpgart.o kernelmodul from kernel, using agp_try_unsupported=3D1
radeon.o kernelmodul from DRI trunk,
Radeon7500 (270MHz GPU, 230MHz DDRRam),
Athlon XP1700+ on SIS745 based board (ECS K7S6A),
SuSE 7.2 with some Suse 7.3 packages
SDL-Version: 1.2.0-24 from SuSE
